When initiating a comparison, you can select precisely which categories you wish to compare with your partner. If you prefer, you can even narrow the comparison down to only the Bucket List. This grants both of you complete control over your own pace!
The “No-Shame” Principle: How the Comparison Works
The profound purpose of the LustList is to assist couples who secretly share identical desires deep within, but would otherwise never dare broach them out of sheer fear of rejection, shame, or ridicule.
Accordingly, the LustLink algorithm processes answers using an extremely rigorous, protective framework:
- The Absolute “Yes”: A desire or preference is revealed in your shared results exclusively if BOTH partners answered “Yes” to the question.
- Protective Confidentiality: If one partner says “Yes” to a specific fantasy while the other says “No” (or did not answer positively), that topic is completely concealed in the evaluation! Your partner will never discover your desire unless they share it. Your secrets remain entirely confidential, keeping you completely safe from rejection.
- Only Answered Questions Count: Questions are only included in the score and results list if both partners have interacted with them and neither marked them with a “No”.
- The “Maybe” Option: You can intentionally include “Maybe” responses in the evaluation to gently explore new horizons and fantasies together without pressure.
The 3 Types of Question Evaluation
To make comparisons as realistic and valuable as possible, our intelligent algorithm distinguishes between three distinct evaluation logics:

Answers to these questions (such as personal stances on Safer Sex or core fundamentals like vaginal or clitoral stimulation) are always displayed to both partners in the shared evaluation—regardless of whether there is a match. This ensures vital boundaries and health practices are communicated with total clarity from day one.
Active Outing
Alongside questions configured to be automatically visible, you retain the ability at any time to deliberately bypass the secrecy principle for your hidden desires. If you actively select the Outing checkbox on any question, that result will be revealed to your partner under all circumstances, giving you the courage to lay the topic openly on the table.
